This is an original pleinair painting I did of the rocks on the edge of the north pond at Parc La Fontaine in Montreal. In mid July, the pond had finally been refilled after the construction of the new Théatre de Verdure, and the rocks were once again sitting in water. The vertical view offers a slice of landscape, with layers of near and far. This painting is for someone who loves park scenery, nature and a calm and peaceful mood. Ideal artwork for any living or working space.

Watercolour, 10 x 25 cm, with a thin white border, painted using professional light-fast pigments on 100% cotton paper. The painting is signed by me, JC Little, on the front and has the title and date on the back. I will include a certificate of authenticity with this painting. It will be packaged with an archival sleeve, a stiff cardboard backing and a bubble wrap envelope to protect it. To avoid waste, where ever possible I will re-use mailers and other packaging materials. It’s recommended to frame it behind glass, with an acid-free matte, to preserve the painting from deterioration. Display away from direct sunlight.
