This is an original pleinair painting I did of the view of the path down to the South Pond at Parc La Fontaine in Montreal. The trees were barely in leaf, so the shadows of the trees were still quite defined in terms of trunks and branches. Because the weather was unusually warm, the leaves were coming out rapidly, so I painted this view four times in the middle of May; this was the first day. This painting is for someone who loves park scenery, nature and a calm and peaceful mood. Ideal artwork for any living or working space.

Watercolour, 5 x 7" with professional light-fast pigments on 100% cotton paper. The painting is signed by me, JC Little, on the front and has the title and date on the back. I will include a certificate of authenticity with this painting. It will be packaged with an archival sleeve, a stiff cardboard backing and a bubble wrap envelope to protect it. To avoid waste, where ever possible I will re-use mailers and other packaging materials. It’s recommended to frame it behind glass, with an acid-free matte, to preserve the painting from deterioration. Display away from direct sunlight.
