This is an original studio charcoal and coloured pencil drawing I did of a thoughtful looking crow on toned gray paper. There is also some coloured pencil and ink on this piece, which makes it a mixed media artwork, however it is mostly charcoal. The reference photo I used is by Alexas Fotos, a wonderful photographer of birds and other wildlife. This drawing is for someone who loves birds, and black birds in particular, and a source of inspiration and contemplation. Ideal artwork for any living or working space.

Charcoal, 8 x10", drawn with artist grade materials on Strathmore toned gray acid-free mixed media paper. The drawing is signed by me, JC Little, on the front and has the title and date on the back. I will include a certificate of authenticity with this drawing. The drawing is not sprayed with fixative, it is covered with a sheet of Glassine to protect it from smudging. It will be packaged with an archival sleeve, with stiff cardboard backing on both sides, and bubble wrap mailer. To avoid waste, where ever possible I will re-use mailers and other packaging materials. It’s recommended to frame it behind glass, with an acid-free matte, to preserve the drawing from deterioration. Display away from direct sunlight.
