This is an original pleinair painting I did of the trees casting purple shadows onto the pond at Parc La Fontaine in Montreal. By mid-July, the park was lush with foliage, sunlight filtering down through the branches and creating beautiful reflections and shadows on the water’s edge. This painting is for someone who loves nature and a calm and peaceful summer mood. Ideal artwork for any living or working space.

Watercolour, 20 x 26 cm, with thin white border, painted with professional light-fast pigments on 100% cotton Arches rough paper. The painting is signed by me, JC Little, on the front, and has my signature on the back of the painting, along with the title and the date. I will include a certificate of authenticity with this painting. It will be packaged with an archival sleeve, a stiff cardboard backing and a bubble wrap envelope to protect it. To avoid waste, where ever possible I will re-use mailers and other packaging materials. It’s recommended to frame it behind glass, with an acid-free matte, to preserve the painting from deterioration. Display away from direct sunlight.
