Original pleinair tiny painting I did of the little green shack on the edge of the pond at Parc La Fontaine in Montreal. The blue sky behind the trees was full of sunlight and it was filtering through and caught my eye; it was a lovely summer day when I painted this. It’s said that this little shack used to be where one could rent a row boat to take out on the pond. Since I’ve lived in the neighbourhood, I’ve never seen the inside of the green shack. Every year it gets covered in graffiti, and then repainted the same shade of green. This painting is for someone who loves Montreal, city landmarks, reflection scenery, and a calm and happy mood. Ideal artwork for any living or working space.

Watercolour, 3.5 x 4.9", with professional light-fast pigments on 100% cotton paper. The painting is signed by me, JC Little, on the front and has the title and date on the back. I will include a certificate of authenticity with this painting. It will be packaged with an archival sleeve, in an envelope with a stiff cardboard backing to protect it. To avoid waste, where ever possible I will re-use mailers and other packaging materials. It’s recommended to frame it behind glass, with an acid-free matte, to preserve the painting from deterioration. Display away from direct sunlight.
